G’day, and welcome! My name is jack Newkirk and I am currently an undergraduate student in Oregon State University-Cascade Campus’s Outdoor Recreation Leadership & Tourism college. This site is a running account of all the adventures, misadventures, and humorous happenings that I have experienced through my travels around the globe.

The purpose of this website is twofold: it is both to keep friends, family, and loved ones informed of all that is happening in whichever hemisphere I find myself and to fan that spark of adventure that resides in every one of us.

I hope that you find this website both informative and stimulating, but more than anything, I hope that it inspires you to get out there and create some adventure of your own.
