Dude! The best way to deal with leeches is to wear panty hose and then spray them with salt water when you are done wading. When you take your nylons off, all the leeches come off slicker than a platypus’s beak!

Thanks, Dad. I shared that bit of information with the folks here and they looked at me like “Oh, wow, you’re a genius.” It had never even occurred to them to use a physical barrier instead of a chemical one. Cheers!
